Project cars · Friend groups · One garage

The group chat is not a build plan.

Shitbox Garage keeps the next job, the parts list and who's on it right next to the car. Saturday starts with wrenching, not scrolling back through the chat.

Park your first car

Private by default. You'll create your account on the next screen, with the car already in it.

Three moves. Then go wrench.

  1. Park the car

Year, make, model. Add a photo now or later and it shows up in your garage.

  2. List the jobs

What's broken, what's next, what's blocked waiting on a part. One line each is plenty.

  3. Bring the crew

Share one invite link. Everyone sees the same next job and can grab it.

Everything lives with the car.

No project management degree required. If you can write a shopping list, you can run a build.

Your garage, at a glance

Keep vehicle details, project stages and the next jobs together. Cars and motorbikes are welcome; the work stays attached to the thing you are fixing.

Open work has somewhere to go

Use assignments, checklists, due dates and blocked reasons to keep the group moving without turning a weekend project into a project-management job.

Parts without the mystery box

Link what you need to the task that needs it. Track approximate prices, suppliers and the journey from needed to installed.

Progress worth coming back to

Owners can post progress updates with photos; crew members can reply, keeping the small wins with the project history.

Manuals when memory runs out.

Keep the PDFs and DOCX files for a car in one searchable library.

Optional discovery, still behind a sign-in

Owners can choose to list a garage or car for signed-in members to discover. Listings are optional and never open to the public web.

Invite your crew

Make the next job visible to the people who can help.

Before you open the garage

Who can see my garage?

Your garage is private by default. You can choose to list a garage or vehicle for other signed-in members to discover. Listings are never visible on the open web.

Can the whole crew edit a project?

Yes. Garage members can work on projects together. Vehicle ownership is there for attribution, not to stop a friend lending a hand.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes. The web app works on phones, tablets and desktops. Keep tasks and parts handy when you are in the garage.

Are these real garages?

These screenshots show the actual app with example records and illustrated vehicles. Your garage starts with your own projects.

One more job. Then we drive.

Famous last words.
